For years I wanted to turn my pain into art. But it took time, understanding, deep healing and especially acceptance to finally express my feelings and put them down onto paper.
I am not a writer, so I reached out to my friend and acting colleague, Sophia Dunn-Walker, to see, if she’d like to be part of this endeavor and help write the script and be my acting partner.
Sophia agreed.
For months we wrote, improvised, rehearsed to realize that we have much in common and share similar tragedies. Exploring my mother’s pain made me understand her actions. Living her last moments helped me process and heal.

I will be forever grateful that I chose to express my heartache in form of this film. With my loved ones by my side, who could truly see, feel and understand my vision, I was able to realize this project. It has been an incredible journey and a beautiful opportunity to share this difficult moment with the world.

Having created this movie will hopefully show you that you are not alone. Maybe it will inspire you to use art as an outlet.
